Angelee Delos Reyes of Olongapo City was chosen Miss Philippines-Earth 2013.
Delos Reyes, 25, was judged the best in the field of 47 aspirants, following her answer of an additional criterion in the beauty pageant.
The question: “If you could add another criteria to pick a beauty queen, what would it be?”
Her answer: “I will add a good heart or a genuine heart to take care of the environment because Miss Philippines-Earth is here to tell us that we must take care of the environment not only for ourselves but for the future generation.”
Joining Delos Reyes in the winner's circle are Kimverlyn Suiza (Miss Philippines-Air) from Nagcarlan, Laguna; Nancy Leonard (Miss Philippines-Water) from Zamboanga City; Alma Cabasal (Miss Philippines-Fire) from West Coast USA; and Bernadette Mae Aguirre (Miss Philippines-EcoTourism) from Santa Maria, Bulacan.

“Now, they're focused on water. Last year, they were focused on energy, so we just adopt a theme and we focus on that when they're outside and giving awareness, said Lorraine Shuck, Executive Vice-President, Carousel Productions,Inc.
