Kundiman singer Juvie Pelos impressed the four judges on "The Voice of the Philippines" with a little-known "interesting" folk ballad from the play "Uwahig" in Saturday's episode of the hit reality talent search.
The 21-year-old shipping lines employee from Surigao City convinced a four-chair turn with a performance referred to by coach Lea Salonga as "too interesting to ignore."
Among the four coaches, Pelos eventually picked her "idol," Salonga, who she said was one of the reasons she joined the competition.--Source: ABS-CBN News
