Actress Ara Mina, in a statement, admitted her pregnancy and miscarriage.
The 34-year old sexy star identified the father of her would-be baby as Mayor Patrick Meneses of Bulacan, Bulacan province.
She was not immediately available for interview, but instead issued her official statement to GMA entertainment network.
Her statement:
“I would like to clear the issue about the pregnancy.
“Yes, I was, but unfortunately I had a miscarriage few weeks back.
“It’s something we don’t want to remember as it was so painful for me and Pat.
“Something that we just cannot vocally discuss in public, but we both owe the people the truth that’s why I’m making a statement about it.
“In God’s time maybe another blessing will come in the future, but for now, we are still trying to move on, trying to forget the miscarriage.
“We hope that people would understand why we kept in private. Thank you.”
According to reports, Meneses used to date actress Aiko Melendez, who incidentally is the ex-wife of actor Jomari Yllana who is Ara's former boyfriend.
