A new photo of suspected pork barrel scam queen Janet Lim Napoles seems to show she has become thinner and weaker, during a medical check-up at the Philippine National Police General Hospital in Camp Crame Wednesday morning.

The businesswoman underwent transvaginal ultrasound and Partial Thromboplastin Time (PTT) blood test, according to Chief Superintendent Alejandro Advincula, PNP Health Service director. She had been complaining of profuse bleeding while detained at her cell at the Special Action Forces (SAF) facility in Fort Sto. Domingo in Laguna.
Advincula said Napoles' vital signs were normal but she underwent electrocardiogram (ECG) because she was complaining of chest pains.
Advincula added the government will shoulder the P3,000 medical expenses of Napoles for today, on top of the P120,000 the government shelled out for her transfer from Fort Sto. Domingo to the PNP Headquarters in Quezon City.
After the check-up, Advincula said that PNP doctors found her ailments as "not alarming."
"Hindi alarming at this point of time. Walang problema," he said.
Advincula said Napoles will not be confined at the PNP General Hospital after the medical examinations done on her.
"Hindi po sya iko-confine. As a matter of fact, ibabalik na sya sa kanyan lugar sa (Region) 4-A (detention facility)," he added.
After the examination, Napoles was immediately escorted back by policemen to Fort Sto. Domingo in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Napoles, a central figure in the P10 billion pork barrel scam, is facing plunder charges before the Office of the Ombudsman.
She was detained in Fort Sto. Domingo for a separate charge of serious illegal detention filed by her former aide, pork barrel scam whistle-blower Benhur Luy. --Photo and excerpt from ABS-CBN News
