Samsung launches a tablet with a bigger 12.2in screen called the Galaxy Note Pro. reaching out to users who find their older tablets a little small.
The huge screen has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600-pixels with a 248ppi (pixel per inch) density, which makes it perfect for the company’s new Touchwiz 3.0 interface that has a tile-like design similar to Windows 8.
The big screen also makes it ideal for its Multi Window feature which lets the user view up to four open apps at the same time. You could, for instance, be watching a video while doodling on the company’s S Note app.
The tablet is also ideal for businessmen, as it allows them to connect the device to a PC remotely to access their documents. They then can edit their documents on-the-go, and any changes made will also be reflected on the copy residing on the PC.
Another business-centric feature is called e-Meeting and this allows two Note Pro users to share data simultaneously.
The tablet, which runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, the latest version of the operating system, has a 2.3GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor, 8-megapixel back camera and 2-megapixel front-facing unit.
Samsung says it plans to sell the version with both WiFi and LTE with 32GB of storage for about P42,000. Expect the tablet to hit stores very soon. --Source: The Star Tech News
