JobStreet.com listed the top 10 highest paid employees in the Philippines and advised job seekers to get into industries which pay the most to their employees.

Are you one of the highest paid managers in the Philippines? If not, try the oil and gas industry. They can pay you as much as P74,297 per month. Or maybe dive into the water and power utilities industry, they pay a good P74,067 for a month's work.

Top 10 industries with better salaries



Eileen Camarillo-Go, marketing communications manager at JobStreet.com, said in a media interview:

“Last year, what we did was we got it per specialization, meaning who are the top paid specializations in the country? Let’s say, you are an accountant, where do you fall in the spectrum of things, and then we categorized it further into position levels,” 
“This year, because we want to inform our job seekers about what kind of industries they should get into, regardless of their specialization, which industries are highest paying, this is what we did: we based it on per industry."


For supervisors, or those with experience of more than 5 years, they get these average monthly salaries:

1. Utilities industry -- P50,411

2. Non-government organizations (NGO) -- P43,165

3. IT software -- P34,679

4. BPO (business process outsourcing)  industry -- P33,691

5. FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) -- P30,751

6. Telecoms -- P29,041

7. Banking and Finance -- P28,779)

8. Advertising -- P28,238

9.  Oil and Gas -- P27,055

10. Hotel -- P26,952


For junior executives, this is their average monthly take-home pay:

1. IT Hardware -- P20,721

2. FMCG -- P20,131

3. Oil and Gas -- P19,848

4. Banking and Finance -- P19,135

5. Mining -- P18,893


JobStreet.com’s list was done through the identification of the average salary of all industries per position level, based on actual salaries posted by employees on JobStreet.com.ph from September 1 to November 30, 2013.
