Rescuers have found the missing female trekker on Banahaw on Monday afternoon, said one of the volunteer mountaineers who joined the search and rescue teams.

Protestant Pastor Noel Suministrado, in a phone interview around 3 p.m., said Niña Gacutan was found by a rescue group that was the first to climb the mountain Monday morning.
“The rescuers have found her. They are now on their way down from Banahaw,” Sumistrado he said.
The search and rescue team met Gacutan within 30 to 45 minutes of hiking, starting from the base of operation in the village of Kinabuhayan.
“[Gacutan] was with another group when found. The group could be another mountaineer or local mountain villagers who first found her,” Suministrado said.
According to Henry Buzar, coordinator of the Quezon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Gacutan has been missing in Banahaw since Sunday.--Source: Inquirer.net
