In Quezon City, traffic has roared back to nearly prepandemic levels; and that being said, authorities has pinpointed the Mindanao Avenue-Quirino Highway intersection as the cause of traffic jam in the area, especially during peak hours.
Motorists coming from Mindanao Avenue or Quirino Highway and wanting to get to Novaliches or Valenzuela, and vice versa are unable to turn onto the intersection because they are simply not allowed to.
So starting on November 15, 2021, there will be a dry-run for the re-opening of traffic flow at the intersection of Quirino Highway and Mindanao Avenue, heading in all directions.
This means all vehicles traveling at the intersection can go straight, right, left, or make a U-turn at the intersection. (The map below can be used as a guide.)
Just remember to reduce speed when you approach the intersection so you can give way to vehicles already in the area. There are multiple times when traffic got congested because cars get entangled due to motorists not giving way to each other.
