Here are store and mall hours in the Greater Manila Area for the rest of the Holy Week (March 29 until April 4) during the week-long enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) placed Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite and Laguna under ECQ starting March 29 until April 4 due to the surge in new COVID-19 cases.
1. SM Malls - only essential stores like supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, hardware stores and restaurants that offer takeout and delivery will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be free parking to all customers during the ECQ implementation.
2. Robinson Malls - essential stores will also remain open, but with an adjusted operating hours. Supermarkets will operate from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. while other stores will open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be free parking to all customers during the ECQ implementation.
3. Shangri-La Plaza - essential stores will remain open between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m except on April 1 (Maundy Thursday) and April 2 (Good Friday.)
4. Ayala Malls, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls - only essential stores will remain open. Management advised mall goers to tune in to their Facebook pages for further announcements on operating hours.
Stricter, longer curfew hours starts Monday, March 29 until April 4 from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. will be implemented in Metro Manila and the four provinces under ECQ.
