Metro Manila, 4 provinces go under ECQ, longer curfew hours

The National Capital Region, including Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, and Laguna will be subjected to Enhanced Community Quarantine or ECQ from March 29, Monday, to April 4, 2021, Sunday, according to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

Authorities will also enforce a 6:00pm to 5:00am nightly curfew during the duration of the quarantine restriction.

Mega Manila, or the NCR Plus, was earlier placed in a bubble until April 4 in an attempt to control the sudden surge in Covid infections at an unprecedented rate.
