Two popular epic movies, "Ghostbusters" and "Indiana Jones" will be having their own reboots, according to Hollywood websites.
The new "Ghostbusters," to be directed by Paul Feig, will be an all-girl cast which may include Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.
Wiig and McCarthy both worked with Feig on Bridesmaids while McKinnon and Jones have both starred in Saturday Night Live.
Sony has finally set the film for release on July 22, 2016 with a tweet from Feig confirming the release date.
Meanwhile, after buying the rights from Paramount in 2013 for the Indiana Jones franchise, Disney may be planning to make a reboot on the adventures of the famous whip-wielding archaeologist.
Disney has yet to officially comment on its cast, but the name of actor Chris Pratt ("Guardians of the Galaxy") is already emerging as a possible replacement of Harrison Ford to portray Indiana Jones.
Pratt stars in Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic World" -- which hits theaters in June 2015.
