The results are out -- the sexiest vegetarian celebrity is no other than Mary Jean Lastimosa, the country's representative in the next Miss Universe beauty pageant.
The 27-year-old beauty titlist from North Cotabato bested other celebrity vegetarians such as Geneva Cruz, Sandra Seifert, Amanda Griffin Jacob, Chin Chin Gutierrez, Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan and Lougee Basabas.
The search was launched by PETA, or the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
PETA Asia vice president Jason Baker comments:
"MJ knows that going vegetarian is the best thing that you can do for animals, the Earth, and your health. Plus, she's living proof that being vegetarian helps keep you slim and sexy,"
