Popular Swedish fashion giant H&M (Hennes & Mauritz), launched its first store in the Philippines at the SM Megamall's Fashion Hall in Mandaluyong City yesterday.
But, if you happen to miss Wednesday's formal launching, you can still catch its grand opening on Friday and still enjoy its Autumn/Winter collection, as well as the limited-edition H&M Studio line.
Get up to 40 – 50% off on great selections; plus, the first customer in line will be awarded with a gift card worth P6,000. The next 200 shoppers in line will get gift cards loaded with a value ranging from P200 up to P5,000.
The store, consisting of three levels and spanning a wide 3,000 square meters, have the women's collection at the ground floor; ladies' and teens wear on the second floor.
The men's section is located on the third floor, along with items for kids and babies. Accessories for men, women and children can be found on all three floors.
The SM Megamall store is H&M’s flagship outlet in the Philippines, and its 55th location globally. It started as a women’s wear shop in Sweden in 1947 and now has over 3,300 stores worldwide. The brand first expanded outside Sweden into the rest of Europe with the opening of its Norway branch in 1964, then to the Asian continent via Hong Kong and Shanghai in 2007.
By the end of the year, four more H&M branches will open in Metro Manila -- SM Makati, SM North EDSA in Quezon City, Robinsons Magnolia also in Quezon City, and Robinsons Place Manila.
