Popular budget carrier Cebu Pacific Air will start flying three weekly flights between Dammam, Saudi Arabia and Manila on Oct. 4.
In a statement released Friday, Cebu Pacific said its newest long-haul service will depart Manila every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 9:55 pm, arriving in Dammam at 2:40am the next day. “The return flight departs Dammam every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 4:10 am, and arrives in Manila at 6:35 pm,” the budget carrier said.
Cebu Pacific added that it is offering an introductory seat sale fare of P1 from September 5 to 10, 2014 or until seats last. This is for travel from Oct. 4 to Dec. 31, 2014. After the seat sale, lowest year-round fares will start at P3,499.
“As per Philippine Overseas Employment Administration stock estimates, there are over 1 million Global Filipinos based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” the statement read.
Other than Dammam, Saudi Arabia, the budget carrier also operates non-stop daily services between Manila and Dubai, and non-stop thrice weekly flights between Manila and Kuwait. It is due to launch flights to Sydney, Australia on Sept. 9.
Other than its 24 international destinations, the carrier also flies to 33 domestic destinations.
It operates from six hubs: Manila, Cebu, Clark, Kalibo, Iloilo and Davao.--Source: Business World Online
