The "Paalam, Vic Sotto" news which tells of the death of the Eat Bulaga host circulating on social media Facebook and Twitter is just a hoax, according to the program's executives.
The news, which spread like wildfire since yesterday, detailed the "supposed" death of Sotto following his absence from the show on Friday.
However, the management of Eat Bulaga is assuring the public that the TV actor-host is so alive and kicking, and his fans need not worry.
Meanwhile, an article from GMA News warned the public against clicking of the story link as it may contain a virus which may affect their computers.
