The Department of Education (DepEd) on Thursday started assessing public schools for damage caused by Typhoon Glenda (Rammasun) earlier this week.
But the DepEd also asked the public for help by taking photos of damaged schools on Twitter and tagging it so it will be aware of the situation.
Glenda tore through parts of Visayas and Luzon this week before exiting the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Thursday.
The DepEd said that close to 200 schools have been converted into evacuation centers.--Source: GMA News
