KakaoTalk, South Korea's largest mobile messaging app, is offering free unlimited chat and call services to ABS-CBNmobile subscribers, Kakao Philippines country manager Jean Lee said.
Lee said that from July 7 to October 10, users of ABS-CBNmobile can make calls, send text messages, and share photos and videos through the app.
The free service can be used without WiFi or internet data connection.
Carlo Katigbak, president of ABS-CBN Convergence said:
“Our customers don’t have to worry about mobile internet charges because there aren’t any. Even if you don’t have WiFi or data load, you can still use Kakao,”
“We are offering Kakao for free so that more people can try it and discover how much more fun it is to communicate with each other through Kakao,”
