Revilla turned himself in last Friday to the Sandiganbayan after he was ordered arrested on charges of graft and plunder in the P10-billion "pork barrel" scam case.

Revilla's family has requested the PNP to allow them to visit the detained senator every day. For now, the Revillas are only allowed to visit the senator on Thursdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Sunday, the Revilla family brought food and bibles to the PNP Custodial Center. Several of Revilla's friends also came to visit along with Revilla's father, Ramon Revilla Sr.

Revilla's wife, Cavite congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, said they are asking a judge to allow them to bring an air cooler to Revilla's detention cell.

Revilla has also complained of seeing rats "as big as cats", a problem that the PNP promised to handle.

Revilla's lawyer, doctor and spiritual counselor have been given full access to the senator.
