If you want to eat at the top restaurant on the planet, you’ll have to fly across the world to Denmark.
But if you're in Asia and want to eat at one of the top 50 restaurants in the world, it takes only at least two to three hours plane ride to nearby Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand or Singapore.
Noma in Copenhagen has been named the best of the best, taking the No. 1 slot in the prestigious San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards, produced by Restaurant magazine.
Of the 50 top restaurants, 28 are in Europe and 7 are in America, most of them nearby in New York.
