There's a new Japanese restaurant in town, the Banzai Buffet at the SM by the Bay in the Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City.
Just raring to see ninjas and sumo wrestlers to entertain you while dining? Well, there's this new buffet restaurant offering Japanese cuisine that might tickle your interest.
Tagged as “The Great Teppanyaki Theater,” Banzai can seat up to 500 guests inside its luxurious 1,300-square-meter chophouse of original Japanese food.
Banzai’s buffet includes Japanese staples from salads to desserts, including live stations preparing favorites like tempura, takoyaki, tonkatsu, gyoza and ramen.
There are also Sushi, sashimi, and Teppanyaki as the highlight of the buffet.
Did I say early on that the place is a 1, 300 square-meter food joint? Here's a location map to help you navigate this huge restaurant while you're there, courtesy of popular food blogger Bubbly Fluffy.
And yes, before I forget, there's also this “trick art” gallery which has three large paintings for “selfie” addicts and fun pictorials. It's fun because you can wear their sumo fat-suit and Japanese head gears while posing by their artworks.
The restaurant will offer free lunch or dinner to mothers in a group of four, on May 11, Mother’s Day. Mothers may bring along their husband, children or other relatives to form their group of four. Only one mom per group may avail of the free buffet.
