Popular travel website Choose Philippines has a former child actor as its editor-in-chief - Philip Kimpo Jr., the bright boy in ABS-CBN's educational kiddie show "SinEskwela."
Kimpo appeared on ABS-CBN’s educational programs in the ‘90s --“SinEskwela” and “Hiraya Manawari” -- when he was 11 years old.
He treasures those years as he got to know some well-known personalities in the country. At the same time, he was able to help his family financially.

Kimpo has kept a 16-year-old taping call slip, script, and pay slips.
After three acting stints, Kimpo was offered by the other network to host an educational program but he backed out as he had to focus on his studies.
As the EIC of Choose Philippines, Kimpo has been travelling a lot as part of his job -- mainly to find, discover, and share more of the country’s natural beauty. He was able to travel in seven different provinces since he started last January.
“It was overwhelming that, after a long time, I had the chance to come back to ABS-CBN, though being an EIC is miles different from what I was doing when I was a kid,” he shared.--Source: ABS-CBN News
