A shuttle bus fell from the Skyway early morning Sunday, March 2, just 3 months after the fatal Don Mariano bus accident in the same area last year.

Initial reports said that the vehicle being used by Skyway O&M Corporation for their employees fell from the expressway's southbound lane in Bicutan area, Parañaque, at around 5 am. This is the second time another vehicle fell from the elevated highway.
Witnesses say the bus was hit by a Toyota Fortuner, causing it to lose balance.
The shuttle bus has just finished unloading Skyway tellers to their booths when the accident happened.
Inside the shuttle bus was driver Alan Nopal, who survived the accident and was brought to the hospital.
A passenger from the Toyota Fortunner, which was going to Laguna from Baguio City during the time of the accident, was also injured and brought to the hospital.
Reports say the vehicle was immediately removed. Thus the accident did not cause traffic in the area.
On Dec 16, 2013, a Don Mariano Transit bus fell off the southbound lane and fell on top of a van.
The police's Highway Patrol Group said there were 18 confirmed dead from that accident, prompting the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to cancel the bus company's franchise.
