The Light Rail Transit (LRT) and the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) will be offering rides to their commuters on Wednesday, June 12, Independence Day.
LRT Administration public relations division manager Evelyn Paragas said passengers of LRT Line 1 and Line 2 will not be required to pay for train rides between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. and from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
The MRT Line 3 will also offer free rides for the same period.
Authorities said the free rides will allow passengers from Metro Manila and nearby provinces to attend Independence Day events and activities on Wednesday.--Source: ABS-CBN News
