Tomb Raider gets a reboot with its new video game for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 known as the Definitive Edition coming January 2014, according to an Amazon game flyer.
Any new version of the game has yet to be formally announced, although there was also a prior listing up on Amazon as well for the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, suggesting a new bundle pack would include the main game, along with other items such as numerous Lara Croft skins and various multi-player mapping packs. The Amazon listing has basically confirmed the rumors.
Amazon has released information that states the new Tomb Raider reboot coming to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be priced at $59.99 (roughly PHP2,400). The new game version also will include all of the DLC, comprising of the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer, six various outfits for Lara, a mini digital art book and the digital comic book “The Beginning.” Amazon also has added an Art Book Packaging Edition, which is recorded for each console. It contains a look at private, never before seen conception artwork.
NEW FEATURES:
Lara Croft’s hair will use high end TressFX technology and her entire face and head will be remodeled for what was described as a first hint at how a next gen Tomb Raider game would look.
The game world will also have new attention lavished on it, with rustling leaves and trees that move in the wind. Crystal Dynamics are working in conjunction with Sleeping Dogs developer United Front Games and Nixxes on the new version of the game, which will run at 1080p.
Inclusion of previously released multiplayer downloads that amounts to eight maps, four characters, and six weapons.
Six alternative costumes for Lara and a digital copy of a Dark Hose tie-in comic book, The Final Hours of Tomb Raider documentary series, and a new hardback art book.
The Xbox One version will have optional Kinect voice controls for menus and weapon modding and the PlayStation 4 version will light up your controller when you use the torch.--Source: Guardian Express/Metro
