The inclusion of the Sarah G. in the official lists of nominees added to the growing list of the latest international recognition by the Filipino pop singer after her inclusion in the elite, 2012 MNet Asian Music Awards in Hong Kong.
The 24-year-old singer and current mentor and judge of The Voice of the Philippines is nominated in the Best Southeast Asia Act category in the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA).
Sarah Geronimo is cited as “the Philippines’ Popstar Princess,” in the description about her, described by the official website of MTV Europe. She was nominated alongside Malaysia’s Hafiz, Vietnam’s My Team, Indonesia’s NOAH, Singapore’s Olivia Ong, and Thailand’s Slot Machine.
