The new and facelifted Toyota Innova launches in the Philippines on February 20, 2021, at 6pm at Toyota Motor Philippines Facebook Page.
First to get the refreshed model of the 2021 Innova was Indonesia which released their version on October 2020. The previous trim was removed from the lineup and replaced by the Luxury variant of G and V trims with captain seats and integrated air purifier. It also marked the revival of Luxury variant of G and V trims, after a five year and 11-months hiatus. Vehicle stability control and hill-start assist became standard on all trims.
Among the new features of the 2021 Toyota Innova includes a trapezoidal front grille with dark gray paint and chrome ornament, a uniquely shaped sharp LED projector headlamp, a rear license garnish and a two toned 16" alloy wheel with silver and black accents.
The 2021 Toyota Innova also gets a new infotainment system: a versatile 9" head unit with radio, USB, bluetooth, Miracast and Smart Phone Connection. It also comes with a convenient rear camera and rear seat entertainment for the passengers.
There is no change to the powertrain, and so the Innova range continues on with its previous engine lineup: the 2.0 gas and 2.8 diesel engines that may come in both manual and automatic transmissions.
