The Deep Laguna metallic color adorning the bodywork of the new MINI convertible Sidewalk Edition is thrillingly complemented by the anthracite soft top roof. The ‘SIDEWALK’ insignia lends distinctive accents to the side scuttles and door entry strips to make this special edition all the more special.
The MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition boasts an electrically powered 3-in-1 roof. The hallmark Z-folding soft top operates in 3 stages: fully down, fully up, or halfway in-between to let the breeze in. Best of all, it can be quietly folded up or down in 18 seconds flat – even at speeds of up to 30 km/h.
Under the hood, the Sidewalk Edition loads a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine that makes 192 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. That's enough for 0-100 kph in 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 230kph, according to MINI.
In the interiors are Leather Lounge Sidewalk Anthracite upholstery, steering wheel wrapped in sport leather, interior illumination color and Sidewalk edition floor mats. The dashboard, seats and door panels see blue stitching and the contrast stitching sticks with yellow and grey color.
The MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition also gets LED treatment on the headlights, fog lights and taillamps. It gets keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, heads-up display, power-folding side mirrors, large 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, and exclusive 17-inch light-alloy two-tone wheels that all come as standard.
