Coming to the big screen is the fifth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise: MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - ROGUE NATION, directed by Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher) and starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, Alec Baldwin, and more.
Faithful as always to its spy film genre, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - ROGUE NATION is visibly a big blockbuster potential. Not only does its trailer features myriads of highway chase scenes but also shows Ethan Hunt in his same cliffhanger self: dangling from a huge airplane as it takes off -- pretty much perilous than in MI: Ghost Protocol where he scales the walls of the Burj Khalifa building in Dubai.
The trailer also reveals a glimpse of its plot; an "anti-IMF" group set to assassinate Hunt and (most probably) members of his group, which Benjie Dunn (played by Simon Pegg) divulged in his dialogue in the trailer.
Also debuting as Hunt's female partner is the character of Rebecca Ferguson, who saved Hunt from being tortured in the first scenes of the trailer. Whether or not she's part of the "anti-IMF" syndicate to act as a major antagonist in the movie, we still don't know.
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation hits theaters worldwide on July 31, 2015.
